The Earth Moved: On the Remarkable Achievements of Earthworms

Stuart takes a topic with many people find disgusting and explains it in a way which is very readable and fascinating. I think by now we all know the beneficial aspects of earthworms, but she doesn't stop at talking about the benefits of earthworms, she also talks about the detrimental effects that they can have as an invasive species. It's interesting for me that this book came out almost 20 years ago, and I had only heard about the invasive aspect of earthworms a few years ago. So I imagine it took that long for this knowledge to spread in the public consciousness, and I'm sure that this book helped with that a great deal. I don't have anything critical to say about the book, only if you enjoyed this book, you might also enjoy other books of hers.
