Last Man
I stopped watching this because I found the main character insufferable. The acting and writing is good, so maybe it's more for you than it was for me. This is a comedy, so it doesn't have to be 100% logical, and this is not why I didn't like it, but here are a list of things that don't make sense in the world. The characters are survivors of a plague that wiped out most of the world's population. Where are the dead bodies? Where are the abandoned cars? It looks like everything (apart from the houses) was sucked up into space. Connected to that, apart from the main character, none of the people left seem to have any psychological trauma. Which I imagine would be unrealistic. They live in Tucson and the show has a strange relationship to electricity. Sometimes they use a generator, which makes sense, and sometimes it just randomly works. A character is seen using a hair dryer to dry glitter. Why would you do that? Makes no sense. This is mentioned in the show, but why would you decide to live in the middle of a desert if you were the last person alive? Why not somewhere with better weather, like Georgia? Then each character uses a car. You might think they are stealing a new car every time they run out of gas, but the main character takes a bus across North America. This makes no sense as gas pumps require electricity to work, so you wouldn't be able to refill your tank, unless you broke into a distribution centre and stole the gas, but this is not shown. Again, it's a comedy, so these things do not have to be realistic, but it would be good to see a series like this that approached the topic more realistically and without zombies.
